Leadership. Experience. Values.
Marcus Shelton is a life-long resident of Harlan Township who is well-acquainted with the unique attractions and needs of our community. Born and raised in a hard-working rural farming family, Marc grew up with strong family values and the desire to make things better for others. He believes that honesty and integrity are hallmarks of good citizenship and critically important values in our community leaders and elected officials.
Marc is committed to helping create and preserve an environment that fosters the hopes, dreams, and goals of our township’s families. Marc believes in helping others and looking out for others. He and his wife Cherie have taught their sons respect for God, family, and country. Imbued with a strong sense of community, he believes one person can make a difference, and that all of us have a duty to serve the needs of our fellow citizens. Despite an incredibly active life as a Railroad Engineer, Marc currently serves as a Harlan Township Trustee, stays actively involved in our Community, serves on the Warren County Republican Central Committee, and is a member of the Warren County Farm Bureau.
